MILAN - This afternoon Roberto Mancini and Andrea Ranocchia visited the Indonesia pavilion at the Universal Exhibition together with EXPO 2015 commissioner Giuseppe Sala, managing director Marco Fassone and CFO Michael Williamson.

Waiting to greet the Nerazzurri delegation was Agus Saptono, minister counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Italy. "Welcome to the Indonesia Pavilion," he began. Inter have lots of fans in our country and president Erick Thohir's club is one of the best loved in the whole world. We're delighted to receive this visit from Inter."

The Nerazzurri's tour of delicacies and delights from an exotic far-off land began with a traditional dance from Bali, the most famous island in the Indonesian archipelago in the West. It also saw them get a taste of Indonesian cuisine, the fight against world hunger being the theme of this year's Universal Exhibition.

"The food is really tasty," Andrea Ranocchia declared appreciatively, before answering some questions about Inter. "We need to win all three of our remaining games. If we can get nine points, we'll be in with a chance. We've been doing well defensively recently and that's good. We have some tough games coming up but if we play with the same spirit we showed in Rome we can do it."

Later he told Inter Channel: "It was a fantastic Indonesian experience. The food is amazing. The president is really close to us. He shares his thoughts and feelings with us, and his desire to win."

Roberto Mancini said: "I first discovered Indonesia years ago - I went there for the first time in 1995. I remember playing with Sampdoria in front of 100,000 fans. And there's even more passion for Inter thanks to president Thohir."

At the China Corporate United pavilion, Roberto Mancini met secretary general Wang Hui and handed him a shirt with 'China 2015' on it to celebrate Inter's forthcoming summer tour, which will take in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou. He wrote a message in the guest book to show his appreciation of the pavilion before signing off with 'See you in China.'
