APPIANO GENTILE – While most of the country enjoyed a day off work to celebrate National Labour Day, the Nerazzurri had their noses to the grindstone at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti today with Inter v Chievo just 48 hours away.
After warming up, the players were guided through a series of technical and tactical drills by Roberto Mancini and his coaching staff, then played a training game. The session was wrapped up with some shooting practice and a few rounds of football tennis, as sporting director Piero Ausilio and vice president Javier Zanetti watched on from pitchside.
The team will put the finishing touches to their battle plan for Sunday's 15:00 kick-off at the Meazza when they reconvene at the training ground tomorrow.
