APPIANO GENTILE – Roberto Mancini and the players trained to the sound of warm applause today as ten Inter Clubs from the Veneto region observed from the sidelines as part of an organised 'Appiano Day'. Also invited to attend the team's workout at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti was Inter Club Bussero, celebrating its 50th year as an official Inter Club.
With Sunday afternoon's game against Chievo firmly in their minds, half of the squad worked on individual drills under the guidance of Sylvinho, while the rest of the group ran through different match situations, with Mancini calling the shots.
Another part of today's workout, which was preceded by a technical meeting, saw the players complete circuits aimed at increasing strength (with weights and obstacles) and stamina.
Watching proceedings from pitchside was CEO Michael Bolingbroke and managing director Marco Fassone.
