MILAN – Nine players from the DC United youth academy will make the trip from Washington to Milan to spend a week with the Nerazzurri between 2 and 9 May. The US club’s youngsters will have the chance to train alongside their peers in the Inter academy, as well as attending the Primavera’s match against Cesena and the first team’s clash with Chievo Verona.
"This is an extraordinary opportunity, one that derives from the special partnership we have with Inter," declared DC United youth academy director Nolan Sheldon. "Some of our best youngsters will have the chance to work with top-quality players and coaches in a high-class professional environment. They’ll also be able to have the unique experience of watching the first team play at San Siro."
It represents yet another example of the success being achieved by the partnership between the two clubs, which was launched in 2013.
