APPIANO GENTILE – With the Europa League round-of-32 match against Celtic just 24 hours away, Roberto Mancini’s men hit the training ground this afternoon to put the finishing touches to their preparations.
Watching on from the sidelines was president Erick Thohir, accompanied by general manager Marco Fassone and sporting director Piero Ausilio. Whilst at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti, Thohir also visited Stefano Vecchi and his Primavera side to congratulate them on their success at the Viareggio Cup. Youth academy director Roberto Samaden was there to personally introduce the Inter president to each and every member of the Primavera squad.
Roberto Mancini’s first-team squad revisited some aspects of the Cagliari match, before focusing on a series of practice games based around ball possession. The session was rounded off with some stretching and a few words from Mancini to the group.
