MILAN – Just 12 hours to go now as the countdown to tonight's Milan derby continues. Ahead of the 2013/14 Serie A Week 36 fixture, we've put together a selection of pre-match stats for you to enjoy, courtesy of Football Data.

One penalty for Inter in 2013/14
The Nerazzurri have been awarded fewer spot-kicks than any other Serie A side this season – just one.

Matchwinner Palacio
With his goal at Livorno helping to earn a 2-2 draw, Rodrigo Palacio reaffirmed his status as one of the league's two most decisive players, joint with Udinese man Di Natale. The two forwards have brought their respective teams 20 points with their goals.

One defeat in 13 for Inter
Mazzarri's men have been on the losing side just once in their last 13 outings, going down 2-1 at Atalanta on 23 March. In the other 12 matches in this period they have recorded six wins and six draws.

Inter 2013/14: fourth-best Nerazzurri draw specialists in Serie A history
Inter have drawn 15 of their 35 league games so far this term, the fourth highest number of draws in a single season by the Nerazzurri since a unified league system was introduced in 1929/30. The record of 18 drawn matches was set in 2004/05, followed by 17 in 1991/92 and 16 in 1978/79.

The skipper's derby numbers
Captain Zanetti has played 45 Milan derbies in black and blue, just edging things: 18 wins, 17 defeats and 10 draws.

All square in May derbies
This is the second Derby della Madonnina to be played on 4 May: in 2008 it went the Rossoneri's way as they claimed a 2-1 home victory, Inzaghi (51) and Kakà (56) netting before Cruz (76) pulled one back. In total, eight derbies have been played in May since a unified national Serie A was formed in 1929/30, four in the league, two in the Coppa Italia and two in the Champions League. Results are tied at three wins apiece and two draws.

270-minute shutout at home for Rossoneri, 277 minutes home and away for Nerazzurri
AC Milan have not conceded at home in the last 270 minutes of play, since Amauri netted Parma's fourth in the 90th minute of AC Milan 2-4 Parma on 16 March. Since then, the Rossoneri have strung together three straight victories at the Meazza, against ChievoVerona (3-0), Catania (1-0) and Livorno (3-0). Inter have not conceded home or away in 287 minutes of action. Konè was the last man to beat Handanovic, in the 73rd minute of Inter 2-2 Bologna on 5 April. The Nerazzurri rearguard has remained unbreached since then, for the remaining 17 minutes of that match plus the full 90 against Sampdoria (4-0 away), Parma (2-0 away) and Napoli (0-0 in Milan).

Rossoneri on fire in first and last quarter of an hour
AC Milan are joint with Parma as the team that has netted most often in the first and last 15 minutes of play this season. They have scored 11 times between the 1st and 15th minutes, and 16 times between the 76th and 90th minutes including added time.

Milan spread them around
The Rossoneri have the highest number of different goalscorers in the 2013/14 Serie A, level with Roma. The 17 men on the score sheet for our cross-town cousins are, in alphabetical order: Abate, Balotelli, Birsa, Cristante, Honda, Kakà, Matri, Mexes, Montolivo, Muntari, Pazzini, Poli, Rami, Robinho, Silvestre, Taarabt and Zapata.

Ton-up for Balotelli in Serie A
Former Nerazzurri striker Mario Balotelli will make his 100th appearance Italy's top flight if he features tonight. He made his Serie A debut on 16 December 2007 in Cagliari 0-2 Inter.

First meeting between Seedorf and Mazzarri
This is the first time that Clarence Seedorf and Walter Mazzarri have faced each other in opposite dugouts.

Coach Seedorf vs Inter: another first
Clarence Seedorf has never taken on Inter since becoming a coach. As a player, considering matches played in Italian competitions, his record against the Nerazzurri reads W13, D 4, L8 over 21 games with Sampdoria and AC Milan. The Dutchman wore the black and blue of Inter from December 1999 to June 2002, hitting 14 goals in 92 competitive appearances.

Mazzarri's heaviest defeat against the Rossoneri
As a coach, Walter Mazzarri has crossed swords with AC Milan on 19 occasions, winning five, drawing five and losing nine. He suffered the biggest defeat of his coaching career at the hands of the Rossoneri, when his Sampdoria side were beaten 0-5 in Marassi on 31 October 2007.
