BUDAPEST - Inter Campus set aside some special time to meet their colleagues at Love is the Answer in Hungary.
After visiting the two Inter Campus Hungary sites, the Inter delegation, made up of Francesco Quattrin, Lorenzo Forneris and Dario Tripol, took part in the annual ‘community camp’ organised by Love is the Answer, which this year was held in the small town of Szarvaskő.
The days were packed with intense training sessions, but were also a chance for the coaches and children of both the towns taking part to meet old friends as well as make new ones. It was an exciting time for the children, who, hailing from orphanages in Budapest and from the Rom village of Szendrolad, don’t often get the opportunity to experience such fun first hand.
Special thanks go to Swiss organisation Sponsorship Network International, which raised the money to fund the camp.
The work being done by both camps is progressing well, particularly in Budapest, also due to the return of the former director of the centre, Kristian, who has always been a supporter of the Inter Campus project and keen to push ahead with new activities. There were lots of smiles in Szendrolad, also thanks to the 26 girls who asked to take part in the programme and who had no problem keeping up with their male counterparts.
