APPIANO GENTILE - "It's been a tricky season, we've lost a few games, but we're still in there, we believe we can make third spot and we'll do everything in our power to achieve it." He's not given up, never has done, never will. Juan Jesus also discussed Andrea Stramaccioni in an exclusive interview with Sky Sport Italia. "He's our coach and we'll be with him the whole way through. He's a good coach and we hope to work together for many years to come. Inter will be strong next season and we want to be back winning trophies."
He also spoke about his team-mate, Antonio Cassano: "When a player gets injured, then obviously they're a bit down, but he's always having a laugh and joke, and I hope he's back soon and that he stays at the club." Juan Jesus was also asked if he could see Samir Handanovic leaving the club, following rumours linking the goalkeeper with a summer move to Barcelona: "He's the best keeper I've worked with, I love playing with him, I hope 30 million won't be enough to sign him because he's so good."
The Brazilian finally assessed his season as a whole: "I think I've done well, I've made a few mistakes, but these things happen. It's been a great year and I hope the next is even better. My future? I always want to play, perform well and help my team." And the wait for his first goal goes on: "I hope it comes soon, I'll keep trying but, first and foremost, I do my job defensively. If it happens, it's a bonus, but my first priority is doing my job."
