MILAN - Cesare Prandelli's Italy came from behind to hold Brazil to a draw in a high-profile friendly match played at the Stade de Genève in Switzerland on Thursday evening.
First-half strikes by Fred (33) and Oscar (42) put the Seleção firmly in control of the encounter at the break. But Roma's Daniele De Rossi stabbed home soon after the restart to pull one back (54), then former Nerazzurri striker Mario Balotelli levelled with a long-range effort shortly afterwards (57).
Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia was an unused substitute.
