PAVIA - "I'm finally here, for Inter." These were the first thoughts of Juan Pablo Carrizo, the Nerazzurri's new signing, having passed his medical at the Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo in Pavia, under the careful watch of Inter club doctor Franco Combi.
"It's a great honour for me," Carrizo told Inter Channel. "I'm here to give my all, to help my team-mates. I'm very proud to be part of this great group of players, many of whom I already know. It's a very special moment. Today I heard from Zanetti and Palacio, they congratulated me, it was great."
Carrizo will work alongside Samir Handanovic and he was quick to praise the Nerazzurri keeper: "Samir is an excellent goalkeeper, it'll be great to work and train alongside him."
