SERIE A, INTER V PESCARA: FACTS AND FIGURES

A selection of pre-match stats provided by Football Data ahead of tonight's encounter

MILAN - (Football Data stats) Inter welcome Pescara to the Stadio Meazza for the seventh time this evening. The current record stands at four Nerazzurri victories, one draw and one defeat.

Tonight's 2012/13 Serie A Week 20 fixture sees Andrea Stramaccioni and Cristiano Bergodi pit their wits against each other for the first time. The Inter coach is facing Pescara for the second time in his professional coaching career, after his Nerazzurri side returned from the Stadio Cornacchia with a 0-3 win on the opening day of the current league campaign, 26 August 2012.

Inter's last defeat on home soil in a competitive fixture came on 23 September: 0-2 to Siena in Serie A. Their 10-game unbeaten streak since then consists of seven wins and three draws. If the Nerazzurri were to avoid defeat again tonight, it would be their longest unbeaten run at home since putting together 53 positive results between 2008 and 2010.

Pescara's only previous victory away to Inter was recorded on 13 September 1987: 0-2 in Serie A. Cristiano Bergodi, now the manager, made his top-flight debut that day and played the full 90 minutes. Galvani (40) and a Sliskovic penalty (57) sealed the triumph for the 'Dolphins'.

Inter and Pescara are two of the four sides who have recorded the fewest draws this season – just two, the same number as Juventus and Roma.

Inter's new signing Tommaso Rocchi is one goal away from notching up his 100th career strike in Serie A. Rocchi netted the first of his 99 top-flight goals for Empoli on 29 September 2002, in the 65th minute of Perugia 1-3 Empoli. The striker's tally includes 17 for Empoli and 82 for Lazio.
