MILAN - Although 11,000 kilometres separate Inter and Indonesia, 15 million fans bring them together. The distance is irrelevant however, not only because Andrea Stramaccioni's side will arrive in Jakarta on Wednesday 23 May, but also thanks to inter.it and the Nerazzurri's official Facebook page. Indeed you can see just how much interest there is for Inter in Indonesia simply by looking at the internet traffic. More than 5,000 people access indonesia.inter.it (the Indonesian version of the Nerazzurri's official site) every day, generating more than a million hits a month. Indonesia, after Italy and the United States, is competing with Japan for third place in terms of the number of hits on inter.it and 20,000 Indonesians are signed up to the site.
Looking at the traffic on Facebook, Indonesia is second only to Italy in terms of the number of "likes" and comments on Inter's page.
