MORATTI: "GREAT CHARACTER IN THE SECOND HALF"

"Some good football too. That can be very important because it can shake us up a bit. Villas Boas? Just rumours"

MILAN - President Massimo Moratti answered some questions from journalists waiting outside the Saras offices.

You can read the president's statements in full on inter.it:

President, did you see the Catania match? What mood were you in after the game?

"I saw parts of it. It was disastrous during the worst moment of the game, when we were losing. But I must say they showed great character after the interval and to a certain extent good football too. That can be important because it can might shake us up a bit."

What did you think of Esteban Cambiasso's tears as he went off to the boos of the stadium?

"I don't think Cambiasso was the slightest bit offended for himself. He was upset about the situation at the time. Cambiasso has a strong character; he doesn't let these things get to him."

Andre Villas Boas is said to be in line to become the next Inter coach: just rumours?

"Absolutely. Just rumours."

Looking ahead to Marseille?

"There's time."

Have you spoken to Ranieri?

"Yes, I have."
