APPIANO GENTILE – Tonight's guest on Inter Channel's Prima Serata is Andrea Poli, and the Nerazzurri midfielder answered questions about himself in an exclusive interview that will be broadcast this evening at 21:00. In the meantime inter.it is offering you hourly previews of what he had to say.
"It's an exciting feeling to pull on the Inter shirt and I hope to be able to do it for many years. San Siro is wonderful with the fans who are always behind us and I want to thank them for welcoming me here," the player said.
"I like Inter because it's a club that wants to win things. I felt comfortable here right from the start, especially with president Moratti: he's a very intelligent person and someone you take to immediately, a great man," he stressed.
After talking about Moratti, Poli spoke about his relationship with Claudio Ranieri: "I always try to be ready when the coach and the team need me. The coach talks to me, gives me advice and is always behind me; that's a big help and I thank him for it. I was injured when I arrived and it's not easy to start the season like that but I hope to be 100% again very soon so that I can give my contribution to the team."
There was also a mention for his team-mates: "I get on well with all of them, I really do, though there's obviously a stronger bond with the players I knew at Sampdoria. I also get on very well with Deki and Chivu – they're great lads – Sneijder and Maicon. Maicon is someone you become attached to straight away, he's a good lad as well as being an excellent player. He's very nice."
You can see all this and much more at 21:00 on Inter Channel (Sky Italia, channel 232).
