INTER CHANNEL, POLI: "I WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE"

"I hope I can keep getting better as a player. I'm just thinking about working hard and being ready"

APPIANO GENTILE – "We've all had our own experiences. My two years at Samp helped me to grow and develop and now I'm at Inter – that's something I'm proud of, it gives me personal satisfaction. I'm happy, I'm just thinking about playing and improving as much as possible." That was Andrea Poli speaking on Prima Serata on Inter Channel.

Poli also spoke about his first goal for Inter, against Genoa in the Coppa Italia on 19 January at the Meazza: "It was an amazing feeling to celebrate like that with my team-mates and the fans. And it's the kind of goal I really like: a neat one-two. A great feeling in front of your fans, and of course it was also good to do it against Genoa having played for Sampdoria."

Andrea, who is 22, was then asked how he sees himself when he 'grows up' as a footballer: who would he like to take after? "Myself, because every player has his own unique story. I hope I can become a better player, the kind who really makes the difference on the pitch. I'm just thinking about keeping my head down, working hard and being ready."
