Inter are unbeaten in their last four Serie A matches against Napoli (W3 D1): the Partenopei’s last win was back in May 2019 (4-1).
Napoli haven’t scored in their last four away Serie A games against Inter (a draw followed by three defeats) – they have never remained without goal for five consecutive away league matches against the Nerazzurri.
Their last goal at Meazza stadium against Inter in the competition was scored by Callejón in April 2017. Inter are winless in their four league games this term against sides who finished in the top seven last season, drawing with Juventus, Milan and Atalanta and losing to Lazio.
Napoli are unbeaten in their last 21 league games , their last defeat was back in April 2021 v Juventus (W16 D5). The Azzurri have registered a longer streak without defeat in Serie A only once before – 26 between March and November 2017.
Luciano Spalletti was Inter’s manager for 76 Serie A matches between 2017 and 2019 - the last time he faced the Nerazzurri at San Siro in the league, his team won (Inter-Roma 1-3 in February 2017).
Among teams he’s faced at least twice in the competition, Inter boss Simone Inzaghi’s highest loss percentage in Serie A is against Napoli (70% - 7/10).
After scoring nine goals combined (5 for the Bosnian, 4 for the Argentine) in Serie A between September and the October international break (five games), Inter duo Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martínez have only scored one goal in five league matches since.
Only Cagliari's João Pedro (85) has played more matches than Lautaro Martínez and Piotr Zielinski (both 84) among Serie A outfield players since the start of the 2019/20 season.
However, the Argentine is the player that played the most games with a Serie A club in all competitions in the last three seasons (112).
Fabián Ruiz has scored more goals against Inter for Napoli in all competitions than he has vs any other side, including his only brace in Serie A back in May 2019.
