Seven Inter players on target so far

Seven different Inter players have scored league goals in the 2007/08 Serie A season so far. They are Cesar, Cordoba, Crespo, Cruz, Figo, Ibrahimovic and Stankovic. Fiorentina, Juventus, Roma and Palermo are the other four teams with seven different players on target in the first six rounds of matches.

Inter: 41-match scoring run at home

The Nerazzurri have scored in 41 consecutive home Serie A matches, netting a total of 95 goals. Inter last failed to score in the league on 29 May 2005 when they were held by Reggina on the last day of the 2004/05 season.

Ibrahimovic one of two most decisive players in 2007/08

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Atalanta's Riccardo Zampagna are the 2007/08 Serie A championship's two most decisive players after six rounds of matches. The Swedish forward's goals have earned Inter 7 of their 14 points while Zampagna's efforts have won the Bergamo side 7 of their 9 points.

Cambiasso, Stankovic & October goals

Inter midfielders Esteban Cambiasso and Dejan Stankovic count October as their most prolific time of the year. The Argentine has scored 3 of his 10 Serie A goals in the tenth calendar month while 7 of the Serbian's 38 league goals have come in October.

Inter: 8 yellows in 6 games

Inter are the most disciplined team of the Serie A season so far, with just 8 yellow cards in 6 matches.

Napoli: 300 competitive away minutes without conceding

Napoli are the only team contesting the 2007/08 Serie A championship yet to concede a goal away from home. The last time the Neapolitans let in a goal on the road was in their 3-1 Serie B win at Verona on 26 May 2007 (Pulzetti scored in the 60th minute). The Azzurri have kept clean sheets in their three away matches since that victory (Genoa 0-0 Napoli in Serie B, Udinese 0-5 Napoli in Serie A, and Empoli 0-0 Napoli in Serie A).

Crespo & goals against Gianello

Hernan Crespo scored three against current Napoli goalkeeper Gianello in a two-legged Coppa Italia tie in 2001/02. The Argentine striker netted twice for Lazio against Siena at the Stadio Olimpico and once in the away leg against the Tuscans.

MILAN - Julio Cruz scored his second and third goals of the season as Inter strolled to victory over Napoli at the Giuseppe Meazza.

The Argentine striker, on target against Roma at the Olimpico last weekend, converted assists from Ibrahimovic and Stankovic in a one-sided match against the Azzurri.

Napoli struck a late reply through substitute Sosa who headed in Hamsik's cross.

Three more points then for league leaders Inter, who move four clear of Juventus ahead of Sunday's games.

Cruz sidefooted past Iezzo for his opening goal on 20 minutes after a run across the face of the box by Zlatan Ibrahimovic who cut out four opponents before serving his team-mate.

Inter asserted their domination and El Jardinero added his second in the 36th minute, firing home a left-footed shot after chesting down Stankovic's long-range pass to beat the offside trap.

Mancini's team could have been four-nil up before the half was out but Cruz shot wide from Stankovic's assist and Ibrahimovic was denied at point-blank range by Iezzo after latching on to Cesar's through ball.

Napoli added a more attacking dimension to their game in the second half but lacked the kind of firepower they showed in their 5-0 thrashing of Udinese earlier in the season.

Bogliacino tested Julio Cesar with a first-time effort from inside the area, but it was Inter who created the clearer chances, Ibrahimovic crashing wide and Suazo missing from close range.

Napoli pulled a goal back six minutes from time when Argentine forward Sosa rose to head Hamsik's cross beyond Julio Cesar.
