APPIANO GENTILE - Inter Youth Team are back to their rigorous training schedule
following the victory at home to Brescia at the weekend. A victory which has
satisfied coach Corrado Verdelli, above all because of the three points
gained.
He said, "The victory wasn't wholly deserved. They had more
chances, but both goalkeepers did well. We paid for the work we've done over the
last three weeks. It's a job done in order to shine later on in the
season."
Inter move to within a point of leaders Vicenza, who lost against Verona at the
weekend. Verdelli: "The result is very positive. Our reaction after their goal was
very positive. We drew level immediately, thus finding the right morale to score
the second goal."
