WINS FOR INTER'S U17, U16 AND U15 SIDES AS THE REGULAR SEASON DRAWS TO A CLOSE

Zanchetta's side beat Bologna 4-2, while the U16s record a 2-1 win against Cittadella. Home success for Annoni's team too

MILAN – Inter’s U17, U16 and U15 sides all finished the regular season with wins. Zanchetta’s team beat Bologna 4-2 away from home, while Bonacina’s U16s defeated Cittadella 2-1. Paolo Annoni’s youngsters also beat Cittadella by the same scoreline.

Under 17 Serie A and B, Bologna 2-4 Inter

Zanchetta’s U17s took the lead in the fourth minute through Gnonto before Baldursson equalised for Bologna. After the break, Cancello won a penalty and converted from the spot to make it 2-1 with 56 minutes on the clock. In the 65th minute, the Nerazzurri extended their lead through Bonfanti’s great strike from outside the area. In the closing stages, there were another two goals: Gnonto got his second and Inter’s fourth of the game prior to Cancello pulling one back for the home side. The final score was thus 4-2 to Inter, who have qualified for the final phase of the season in first place.

Under 16 Serie A and B, Inter 2-1 Cittadella

Cittadella broke the deadlock after 23 minutes through Bertazzolo’s header following a corner. In the second half, Politi scored twice in three minutes to turn the match around and hand Bonacina’s side the points. Just like the U17s, the U16s have also qualified for the final phase of the season in first place.

Under 15 Serie A and B, Inter 2-1 Cittadella

Annoni’s U15s went into the match against Cittadella knowing that their hopes of qualifying for the final phase of the season have faded away. Despite this, Inter began strongly and took the lead in the 13th minute through Motti. In the final minutes of the first half, Thioune brought Cittadella level. However, the Nerazzurri stuck to their task well, with Perin scoring the winning goal in the 71st minute.
