MILAN - Following the #DerbyMilano, it’s already time to turn attention to the match against Lazio on Sunday 31st March at San Siro. Andrea Ranocchia spoke to Inter TV about how the team is preparing for the game. "The win against Milan was vital, it gave us a strong push on as we pursue our objectives. It’s always special to win the #DerbyMilano, it’s a unique match for us, the fans and the Club. After the Europa League, we needed to give a response by winning and winning well. We did so and that was what we needed."

The players had a few days off before training started again. "It helped to unwind a bit from a psychological perspective after we had so many games. Now, we’re focused on preparing for the Lazio match and they're a direct rival of ours for a UEFA Champions League spot. We’re very enthusiastic now, going into the game after a derby win. We know that it will be a difficult match but we’ll be ready to win."

As always, San Siro will make its contribution: "I can’t remember a single match in the past years when the fans have done less to push us on and they’re something to be proud of. What we need to do is repay their support with results."
