MILAN - Serie A TIM returns this weekend after the international break, with the Nerazzurri set to host Frosinone at the Meazza. In collaboration with Opta, here are all the facts and figures that you need to know.

Inter have won both of their previous Serie A fixtures against Frosinone, scoring five goals to their zero. Inter have also come out on top in five of their last six league games after an international break (one draw), conceding no goals in four of those matches.

Despite losing their most recent league match 4-1 to Atalanta in Bergamo, Inter have won seven of the last eight in Serie A. The streak of four successive home wins in the league is also the longest since October 2017 (six).

Mauro Icardi’s next league appearance will be No.200 in Serie A (117 goals scored so far). The Argentina striker coincidentally celebrated his 100th appearance also against Frosinone, getting himself on the scoresheet during a 4-0 win on 22 November 2015.

Mauro Icardi has scored at least one goal in each of his last five matches in Serie A and the last Inter player to score in more consecutive league games was Julio Cruz (seven in 2007). Furthermore, Icardi has played a part in all eight of Inter’s last league goals – six goals and two assists.

Icardi also scored in each of Inter’s last two Serie A games against Frosinone (2015-16). However, despite this, the Nerazzurri captain has only managed to score once in the Nerazzurri’s last five games against newly-promoted teams (a brace against Verona last March). The month of November is Mauro Icardi’s most prolific in Serie A – scoring 13 goals in 18 games, which is an average of 0.72 per game.

Matteo Politano scored in his only Serie A fixture against Frosinone, grabbing the winning goal for Sassuolo in May 2016. Radja Nainggolan has also found the back of the net against Frosinone in Serie A, coming during his last clash against the Canarini in January 2016 whilst playing for Roma. As for Milan Skriniar, he has blocked more shots than anyone else this season (14). He also has the highest pass completion rate in Serie A (93.6 per cent, out of the players who’ve made at least 250 passes).

Samir Handanovic is the goalkeeper with the highest difference between expected goals on target (12.5) and goals conceded (10) –meaning that he’s conceded 2.5 less than anticipated. Marcelo Brozovic has played in 37 of Inter’s last 40 games in Serie A, with the Nerazzurri drawing two out of three in his absence (Fiorentina in January and Atalanta in April). The other fixture was a recent 2-1 win over SPAL.
