INTER VS. GENOA: STATS AND TRIVIA

<p><strong>MILAN</strong>&nbsp;- This Saturday, Inter will be going in search of their seventh successive league win as they host Genoa at the Meazza. In view of the 15:00 CET kick-off, we&rsquo;ve teamed up with Opta to provide you with all the relevant stats and trivia.</p> <p>During the last 10 Serie A meetings between Inter and Genoa, the home side has always come out on top. Inter are unbeaten against Genoa in their last 12 home league matches, with the Nerazzurri recording nine wins and three draws. Inter have not won six league games in a row during the same campaign since January 2017, when they then achieved a streak of seven. Inter have won each of their last three home games in Serie A, conceding just one goal in the process. The last time the Nerazzurri secured four successive home wins was in October 2017.</p> <p><strong>Mauro Icardi</strong>&nbsp;scored his first Serie A goal against Genoa, coming during the Derby della Lanterna in November 2012. Meanwhile, <strong>Marcelo</strong> <strong>Brozovic</strong> scored the first of his two Serie A braces against Genoa in December 2016. As for <strong>Danilo</strong> <strong>D&rsquo;Ambrosio</strong>, he bagged the winning goal in the last Serie A clash between Inter and Genoa.</p> <p><strong>Matteo Politano</strong>&rsquo;s first of two penalties scored in Serie A was against Genoa in September 2016, while <strong>Antonio</strong> <strong>Candreva</strong> has had 37 attempts against Genoa in the league, although has yet to find the back of the net. During the 2010-11 season, <strong>Andrea</strong> <strong>Ranocchia</strong> played 16 Serie A matches for Genoa, while in 2013-14, <strong>Sime</strong> <strong>Vrsaljko</strong> made 22 appearances for the Rossoblu.</p> <p>With a total of 775, the metronomic <strong>Marcelo Brozovic</strong>&nbsp;has made more league passes than anyone else this season. As for goalkeepers with at least five appearances, <strong>Samir</strong> <strong>Handanovic</strong> has the best save rate with 82 percent in Serie A.</p> <p>Genoa&rsquo;s Goran Pandev represented Inter on 46 occasions in Serie A, scoring a total of five goals. The Macedonian has also scored two goals in his last three matches against the Nerazzurri.</p> <p>Daniel Bessa came through the youth ranks at Inter, however, never made his league debut. Lisandro L&oacute;pez made one Serie A appearance for Inter last season, while Ianut Radu&rsquo;s Serie A debut came with the Nerazzurri in May 2016.</p> <p>In terms of the Coaches, <strong>Luciano</strong> <strong>Spalletti</strong> has won all three of his previous meetings with Ivan Juric.</p>
