INTER VS. CAGLIARI: STATS AND TRIVIA

<p><strong>MILAN</strong> - Following the win against Fiorentina on Tuesday night, it&rsquo;s already time to take to the pitch once again. In collaboration with Opta, here are all the stats and pieces of trivia for I<strong>nter vs. Cagliari.</strong></p> <p>All of Inter&rsquo;s goals in Serie A (eight) have been scored inside the penalty box, including a penalty from Icardi in the most recent fixture against Fiorentina at San Siro. No team has scored as many goals through midfielders (five) as Inter.</p> <p><strong>Mauro</strong> <strong>Icardi</strong> has scored six times against Cagliari in Serie A, including four goals in his past three matches against the Sardinians. That also includes the most recent meeting which was a 4-0 win for Inter in April 2018 at San Siro. <strong>Ivan</strong> <strong>Perisic</strong> has scored three goals in four against Cagliari, he&rsquo;s only scored more against Chievo (five) in Serie A.</p> <p><strong>Antonio</strong> <strong>Candreva</strong> has scored three times in Serie A against Cagliari, all of these were in home matches but none for Inter. <strong>Keita</strong> <strong>Balde</strong> has found the net twice against Cagliari which makes the Sardinian side one his favourite to play against. He&rsquo;s only scored more against Palermo and Fiorentina (three). <strong>Roberto</strong> <strong>Gagliardini&rsquo;s</strong> first Inter goal in Serie A was against Cagliari in March 2017.</p> <p><strong>Marcelo</strong> <strong>Brozovic</strong> is the player who has made the most passes in the opposition half with 325. Almost 100 more than Allan who is second on 227. One of <strong>Kwadwo</strong> <strong>Asamoah&rsquo;s</strong> twelve top flight goals came against Cagliari in May 2009 for Udinese. For <strong>Mat&igrave;as</strong> <strong>Vecino</strong>, he made nine appearances and scored twice for Cagliari during the 2013-14 season. He also scored one of his twelve Serie A goals against the Sardinians, in March 2015 for Empoli.</p> <p>After making his 100th Serie A appearance in the last match, <strong>Stefan</strong> <strong>De</strong> <strong>Vrij</strong> is now looking to score his tenth goal in the competition. <strong>Radja</strong> <strong>Nainggolan</strong> played 131 times and scored seven times in Serie A for Cagliari, in seven previous fixtures against them for Roma, he was never able to score against his old team.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
