SKRINIAR: "WE HAVE THE DESIRE TO DO WELL IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE"

The Nerazzurri defender speaking ahead of his debut in the Champions League: "We've been thinking about this game since Lazio vs. Inter"

APPIANO GENTILE - Today’s pre-match press conference for Inter vs. Tottenham took place at the Suning Training Centre, with Milan Skriniar giving his view on the Nerazzurri’s first group game on Tuesday: “A different kind of match awaits us compared to the league. We must take the positives from what we’ve done so far. Tomorrow’s game isn’t decisive but it can help us to sort out some of the things that haven’t gone well so far.

“I played against Kane for the National Team. I studied him and I know he is a great player. We must be ready not only for him but for all of Tottenham’s players. They are all strong and have been playing together for at least three years. It will be an advantage for us to play at home in front of our own fans and to get off to a good start.

“Many of us haven’t played in the Champions League and it can be beneficial because there is a lot of desire to do well. Since Lazio vs. Inter we’ve been thinking about our first Champions League match, it’s one that we’ve all been waiting for.”
