MILAN - Last week, a workshop at the end of the season took place together with Inter Academy Health’s Japanese partner iCure. iCure has a network of 41 physiotherapy centres across Japan and their best physiotherapists along with top management were selected to spend three days to study the theory and practical methods used by the Nerazzurri’s medical staff to both prevent and treat injuries in sportspeople.
Activities took place in both the classroom and on the pitch, also involving partners and medical suppliers of Inter. Sixtus Italia S.r.l and Unibell s.r.l. enhanced the experience of the Japanese guests through a seminar focused on the use of tecar therapy, laser therapy and balance board work. Inter Academy staff coordinated the workshop in close collaboration with the medical team at FC Internazionale Milano led by Prof. Piero Volpi.
He bid farewell to those who took part on the final day which was spent at club headquarters. Before visiting the trophy room, iCure’s physiotherapists and managers had the chance to learn more about subjects related to the management and organisation of the medical department.
