MILAN - Luciano Spalletti’s Inter return to action with the aim of recovering following the loss to Juventus and getting back on track in the race to qualify for the Champions League. At 12:30 CEST on Sunday 6th May, the Nerazzurri will be in action at the Dacia Arena against Igor Tudor’s Udinese after he replaced Massimo Oddo 15 days ago.
The previous meeting at San Siro on 16th December saw Inter lose for the first time this season. Goals from Lasagna, De Paul and Barak meant that Mauro Icardi’s equaliser turned out to be in vain. Udinese (having drawn 3-3 with Benevento in their last match) are currently 14th in the table with 34 points that have come from 10 wins, 4 draws and 21 defeats. They’ve scored 46 and conceded 59.
Paolo Silvio Mazzoleni from the Bergamo section will be the referee for Udinese vs. Inter. His assistants will be Giallatino and Costanzo while Di Paolo will be the fourth official. Giacomelli and Paganessi will be the VAR operators.
