THE WOMEN'S GIOVANISSIME 2003 AND ALLIEVE U-16S HAVE WON THE TITLE!

For the second straight year, Inter won at U-15 level while Torriani's side of players born in 2002 triumphed in the first Under-16 season

MILAN - It was a special Sunday for the Nerazzurri’s women’s teams who won the regional league for the second straight year with the Giovanissime while the Allieve won in the first season of competition at Under-16 level.

A draw would have been enough for Stefano Torriani’s side at home against Fiammamonza. Instead, the Nerazzurre won 4-3 thanks to Pasquali and Scuratti goals in the first half before Vergani and Zulli found the net in the second. Inter therefore finished unbeaten on 52 points with a positive streak of 17 wins, just one draw with 121 goals scored and 7 conceded.

The Under-15s’ record was just as impressive as Alessandro Ruocco’s team won the league with two games in hand. A 9-1 win over 3Team Brescia came courtesy of goals from Marengoni and Avilia who both scored four along with Gentile who netted won. The side of players born in 2003 move up to 54 points in the table with 18 wins from as many matches with 123 goals for and just 5 against.
