MILAN - It’s already almost time for Luciano Spalletti’s Inter to return to action following their goalless draw at Atalanta. On Tuesday 17th April, San Siro will host the 33rd match of the Serie A TIM season with kick-off at 20:45 CEST. The Nerazzurri will host Diego Lopez’s Cagliari after the Uruguayan replaced Massimo Rastelli on the Rossoblu’s bench back in October.

The previous meeting in Sardinia on 25th November 2017 saw Inter win 3-1 thanks to a brace from Mauro Icardi along with Marcelo Brozovic’s goal while Leonardo Pavoletti hit the net for Cagliari. The Sardinians are currently 14th in the table on 32 points following their win over Udinese. They’ve won nine, drawn five and lost 18 with 30 goals for and 52 against.

The referee will be Fabrizio Pasqua of Tivoli together with his assistants La Rocca and Tolfo. Mariani and Preti will be the VAR operators.

Today at 15:00 CEST, it will be possible to follow Luciano Spalletti’s press conference from the Suning Training Centre in Appiano Gentile live on the club’s official YouTube channel

The match between Inter and Cagliari will also be the first game dedicated to the worlds of digital and social media. It will be #InterSocialNight on Tuesday at San Siro and the evening is designed to involve fans even more in the match with special entertainment and the participation of multiple online influencers.
