SPALLETTI: "WE'RE READY FOR THE FINAL RUSH"

The Inter Coach a day before Atalanta vs. Inter: "It's all still in our hands and will depend on what we do"

APPIANO GENTILE - Luciano Spalletti was in to spend his morning responding to questions from journalists at the pre-match press conference.

"The result against Torino certainly wasn’t positive, also because the team didn’t deserve it considering how they worked. We played the game that we had to play, we looked to play in their half and we did so at times but not so much at other points. But, if you don’t keep a good balance and you leave a way open through the middle, you can concede from counterattacks when there’s lots of space. We conceded the goal at the moment when we were on top."

"Everything is still in our hands, it all still depends on us. Me, the team and the whole environment at Inter, we all know fully well who we are and what our situation is. We’re where we expected to be and this is what we were aiming for at the start of the season. We’re prepared for this final rush."

"As time goes by, we’re all aware that there are fewer chances and you have to make the most of those you do have. We need to get a result tomorrow. Candreva, Miranda and Vecino all need to be evaluated. Dalbert is a good lad, he has quality and his running is a very significant asset. He also needs the sense of calm to be able to show what he can do. I think that anything could happen, we’ll see how the season finishes. Together with him and the club, we’ll make some decisions."

"Rafinha is a good footballer who can give us a big hand. Inter knows and knew in the past how to get by even without such players. He has to be evaluated from time to time but he’s certainly a strong player and he’s currently in right shape to be picked for a strong team such as Inter."

"For me, Italian football is improving step by step. The way that we’re currently working is good."
