INTER FOREVER TO PLAY IN TOLENTINO

Friday 20th April will see a friendly between Inter Forever and the representatives of the ‘Un Gol Per Ripartire’ project

TOLENTINO - A year since its launch, the ‘Un Gol Per Ripartire’ project is now set to experience its most significant match yet. The campaign is aimed at providing support and solidarity for the areas affected by earthquakes across central Italy in 2016, carried out by the CSI and with support from FC Internazionale Milano and Suning Sports. The aim of the campaign is to contribute toward the social and sporting rebirth of the Marche region, putting on many activities for local youngsters.

It has so far been a full season. Different 2017 initiatives included the Nerazzurri ‘Fun Bus’, which was a touring van that provided activities and animations for areas that cannot currently accommodate regular sport, and the organisation of a summer Inter Camp aimed at children aged six to 14.

However, after many successful initiatives, the long-awaited moment has now arrived; one that’ll see stars from Inter Forever take to the pitch. Celebrations are scheduled for Friday 20th and Saturday 21st April, which will coincide with the friendly and inauguration. Past, present and future will all unite in Tolentino to help turn the town Nerazzurro.

The terrible memories of the earthquake will hopefully be put partially to the past thanks to the presence of some great champions who’ve made history with Inter. Captained by Javier Zanetti and guided by Francesco Toldo, Inter Forever will take to the field with a team made up players who’ve all worn the Nerazzurri shirt in the past. The next day will then see the inauguration of Tolentino’s new multi-sports centre, gifted to the local community by the ‘Un Gol Per Ripartire’ project and thanks to the commitment of FC Internazionale Milano, Suning Sports and CSI.
