SASSUOLO - Inter Primavera played for the last game in 2017. Stefano's Vecchi team beat Sassuolo 2-1 at the Stadio Enzo Ricci 2017 in the early game of the 14th round of Primavera 1 TIM fixtures.
Stefano Vecchi was satisfied about his team's performance afterwards after the ninth win in the first half of the season: "We played really well against a tough opponent. It was important for us to stand up after the TIM CUP defeat against Atalanta. We had the chance to close the match out earlier and we didn’t give up too many chances. Their goal was coincidental".
The Coach then reviewed 2017: "It’s been a great season so far and we do not have to think about the TIM CUP elimination. We are in a good position in the table and we are in the Play-Off round of the Youth League. We will have the Supercup against Roma in Milan in January and it will be a big occasion for the players. In the last three seasons, we have been used to playing this kind of game and we want to stay on that level in order to win another trophy".
