MILAN - The San Siro played host to an exclusive and unforgettable evening on Thursday, a location that is extremely significant for any Nerazzurri supporter. The Gala Dinner took place yesterday, a party that is organised every year by the Inter Club Coordination Centre, with around 200 members of all ages taking part, coming from all across Italy (and not just from the peninsula).
The members had the chance to visit the stadium, the Nerazzurri dressing rooms and also the Pirelli Room, which was specifically set up for the occasion with a video racing game and a game station to play PES 2018. They then moved over to the Executive Suite for the dinner. There were a number of hosts present at the evening, including Nerazzurri legend Mario Corso and Bedy Moratti, who is Honorary President for the CCIC. They warmly welcomed all those present, also enthusiastically highlighting the arrivals of both Luciano Spalletti and Roberto Gagliardini.
The coach and midfielder took photos with all members present, also signing an abundance of autographs. They then told the audience about their own emotions related to the Nerazzurri: “Thank you for this invitation,” said Spalletti. “It is fantastic to receive such a warm welcome from all of you. Everything is easy with you, you immediately gave me your full support. What struck me about the world of Inter is the sentiment surrounding it, the immediate confidence that you placed in us and the unconditional love that you show for the club and squad.” The Nerazzurri No.5 then added: “Only living in the first person can one understand the support that we receive from you. The feelings we experience every time we play at the San Siro are truly unique.”
