EDER: "WE'RE STILL PICKING UP POINTS"

The Italian-Brazilian after scoring the equaliser against Torino: "Our aim is Champions League qualification, the standings are still positive

MILAN – Fresh from renewing his Nerazzurri contract until 2021, Eder scored his first goal of the season today. “The important thing was to get the draw,” he said. “In the first half, we did well and we went close to scoring a number of times. We then struggled a bit after going behind but we managed to get the draw. It’s not a win but it’s better than a defeat. We thank our fans today who were fantastic, they gave us a lot of energy and the atmosphere was incredible. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to give them a win but it keeps the table moving. In a short time, we’ve done more than many would have expected with nine wins and three draws from twelve matches. Our objective is Champions League qualification, we’re on track and we’re happy about this. I accept the Coach’s decisions, I’ll always give my all in every minute in which I’m involved.”
