PRIMAVERA 1 TIM: AC MILAN 0-3 INTER

A Jens Odgaard hat-trick brought victory in the derby against the Rossoneri as Stefano Vecchi's side have won two from two

SOLBIATE ARNO – An unplayable Jens Odgaard put Milan to the sword. The Nerazzurri’s Primavera side won the derby 3-0 after beating Udinese the week before with the Danish forward scoring all of the goals in this local derby.

After just 40 seconds, Pissardo had to come off his line to stop Zanellato inside the area. Soon after, Belkheir just wasn’t able to make the most of a poor Sportelli backpass for Guarnone. In the 15th minute, Inter took the lead. Odgaard took advantage of a mistake from the Milan defence and beat the goalkeeper with a delicate finish. Three minutes later, Milan went close to equalising as the ball deflected off Lombardoni onto the post as he attempted to clear a low Campeol cross. Inter took control again as Belkheir and then Odgaard missed two good chances to extend the lead before the Dane made it two in the 32nd minute as he got past Sportelli before beating Guarnone with an accurate left-foot effort. The sides went into the break with the Nerazzurri two goals to the good.

At the break, Gattuso put Bargiel and Tonin on for Sportelli and Pobega. The Rossoneri attempted to get back into the game but they struggled to create much as the Inter defence prevented them from creating headaches for Pissardo. In the 73rd minute, it was Jens Odgaard again as he completed his hat-trick by turning home a shot-cum-cross from the substitute Rover. A minute later, Rover himself had a chance to scorer but he wasn’t able to convert from Emmers’ assist. Milan looked to net a consolation but Pissardo said no to Sanchez in the 89th minute while Brignoli almost made it 4-0 in stoppage time.

The final whistle then came as Stefano Vecchi’s team claimed the #DerbyMilano and they remain on full points after the first two games of the season.
