CROTONE - Interviewed by Premium Sport just minutes before Crotone vs. Inter, Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausulio had this to say: "The negative experience from playing against Crotone last year will help us do better today. We are trying to do things in a serious manner, we know what our objectives are and we are all working together to reach them. The opening results give us confidence and conviction, however the only thing that matters is the league standings at the end of May. These type of matches are what make the difference and we know that we have to win them. Quality by itself will not be enough to bring home all three points, we also need to show heart, grit and determination."
He also had this to say about Mauro Icardi, who is today making his 150th appearance for the Nerazzurri: "We are extremely happy to have Mauro with us and he is also happy to be our captain for years to come, regardless of any release clause. There was no discussion to be had about him during the recent transfer window. He plays for Inter and he will remain with us for a long time. When there is a desire on both sides to stick together, there are little contractual issues to discuss. As for his new look, the important thing is that he continues to do what he has always done, training well and scoring goals."
