MILAN - Antonio Candreva couldn't hide his disappointment after Inter drew with AC Milan in dramatic fashion on Easter Saturday.
The Italy winger and Mauro Icardi had given the Nerazzurri a two-goal lead but ultimately it was two points dropped as Cristian Zapata equalised with the last kick of the game
"There's not much to say after a finale like that. We could have kept our heads about us a bit better. At 2-0 they didn't have many chances except from set-pieces, which is where their two goals came from," Candreva told Inter Channel after the final whistle.
“We're bitterly disappointed but we have games to play and we must show we're still alive and that nothing is lost. We need to recharge our batteries.
"We didn't turn up in the second half against Sampdoria or the first half against Crotone but we played well today. It's such a shame to concede an equaliser like that.”
