MILAN - The third instalment of Inter Channel's Welcome to Italy programme is on air this week, with Nerazzurri midfielder Joao Mario taking centre stage. The programme is designed to help fans get to know the Inter players better as they reveal their passions for cooking, art and other sports.
This week's edition saw Joao Mario - who joined the club in the summer - tell us about his favourite spots in Milan.
"Piazza Duomo is the heart of the city - it's Milan's picture postcard location," he said. "It's the centre of the city, a bit like the centre circle where you take the kick-off. It's at the heart of Milan and represents a natural meeting point for the Milanese, who come here to see concerts and political events or celebrate when their team wins. Lots have people have told me about the celebrations after Inter won the treble."
