MILAN - The first edition of B2B Sponsor Inter was held on Wednesday 29 March at the Stadio Meazza. The event brought together the full range of Inter's corporate partners.
FC Internazionale's sales & partnership management director Giorgio Brambilla welcomed the guests to La Scala del Calcio who, having welcomed the guests and outlined the importance of the event, gave the floor to special guest Valentina Vezzali.
Vezzali is an Olympic champion in fencing and an Italian sporting icon from the London 2012 games but, above all, a huge Nerazzurri fan.
"It's a real honour for me to be here with you at San Siro to support Inter - as a fan in my case and for you as business partners," she said. "You have a very important role to inspire the supporters who follow this team. There are so many factors behind sporting success and having sponsors backing you in the process is crucial.
"My family have been Inter fans for generations and it's a great feeling to participate in this event with you. I'm proud to be a Nerazzurri supporter. My son plays in goal and his hero is Samir Handanovic. He thinks he's the best keeper in the world. I hope that Inter can get back into the Champions League. We're doing well and dreaming is legitimate because we like a good challenge."
The second phase of the event featured a series of meetings between partners to share business ideas and best practice.
