BERGAMO – Welcome to Italy is the new series on Inter Channel that helps fans to get to know the Nerazzurri better by discovering their passion for cooking, art and other sports.
January signing Roberto Gagliardini was the focus on yesterday afternoon's episode, showing us around his home town Bergamo.
"It's an average-sized town, one of the urban pearls that make Italy unique," he said. "It's a stone's throw from Milan and the mountains, and the air is good here. It's a workers' city, with a marked taste for the aesthetic, as well as hard work and elegance. The upper part is more known among tourists. It feels like you're stepping back in time there."
Gagliardini showed Primavera assistant head coach Luca Facchetti around the Torre Civica, a local landmark known here as the Campanone.
