PRIMAVERA SUFFER SEMI-FINAL HEARTBREAK

Andrea Pinamonti's late strike is not enough as the Giallorossi win the second leg 2-1 and advance to the final

SESTO SAN GIOVANNI - Inter Primavera are out of this year's Coppa Italia after losing to Roma in the semi-final second leg today.

The Nerazzurri dominated proceedings for the best part of an hour but despite fashioning a number of chances couldn't make the crucial breakthrough.

Roma then took the lead with virtually their first chance of the game, Edoardo Soleri finishing from Marco Tumminello's lay-off.

Stefano Vecchi's side levelled the scores through Andrea Pinamonti with six minutes left to play and almost added a second minutes later, only for Roma goalie Lorenzo Crisanto to pull off yet another fine save.

As the game entered injury time, and with Inter throwing caution to the wind, Tumminello made it 2-1 to seal Roma's place in the final.
