PALERMO – Roberto Gagliardini made it three wins from three in Inter black and blue as the Nerazzurri beat Palermo 1-0 at the Stadio Renzo Barbera on Sunday. And the young midfielder wasted no time in urging his team-mates put the three points behind them and focus on next week’s match with Pescara.
"It was a tough match, but we created lots of chances and they barely caused us problems," began Gagliardini, who was talking to Inter Channel after the game. "Candreva produced the cross and Joao did very well to finish.
"The boss asked me to provide more cover against their counter-attacks. When I play with Brozovic I have more defensive work to do because he likes to get forward, but I’m enjoying playing with all of my midfield team-mates. Inter is a big step up, but I’m delighted to be here. Now we focus on Pescara."
