PALERMO V INTER STAT FILE

Icardi involved in half of Inter's goals, Eder one game from double century in Serie A and Perisic on the verge of bettering last season's goal tally

MILAN - Stefano Pioli's Inter visit Palermo in Week 21 of Serie A 2016/17 riding the crest of a wave, after six consecutive wins in the league and a cup victory on Tuesday.

There are 57 previous encounters between these two clubs: Inter are ahead on 29 wins to six and are unbeaten in their last five. Nevertheless, all Palermo's victories against the Nerazzurri have come at home.

Inter have recovered the most points from losing situations this season (15) and are the most prolific side in Serie A in the last 15 minutes of play (12 goals).

Eder is one game away from his 200th appearance in the Italian top flight.

Mauro Icardi leads the Serie A scoring charts with 15 strikes and has had a hand in 67% of Inter's goals. The skipper also has five goals in his last four outings against Palermo.

Ivan Perisic has already equalled his goal tally after 34 games last season, taking only 19 fixtures to do so.

Antonio Candreva has hit the back of the net four times previously against Sunday's opponents; the Italian winger has also delivered the most crosses from open play in the league in 2016/17.

The two respective coaches have crossed paths on just one prior occasion, when Pioli's Bologna beat Eugenio Corini's Chievo Verona 4-0 in 2012/13. Pioli has only suffered two losses from ten encounters against Palermo in the top flight.

Geoffrey Kondogbia and Miranda will miss the game through suspension.
