AUSILIO: "WE HAVE TO PLAY OUR OWN GAME"

Inter sporting director tells Mediaset Premium: "The fixture list has been kind to us but we must make the most of it. We have an excellent squad"

REGGIO EMILIA - Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio spoke to Mediaset Premium in the build-up to Sassuolo v Inter: "People always say you need to focus on what you have to do, but four matches between the eight sides above us all playing each other is a quirk of the fixture list that we have to make the most of it. We must play our own game and come away from Reggio Emilia with three points.

"There's no issue with Jovetic and suggesting the players pick the team at Inter is nonsense. Jovetic is working hard like all his team-mates and the coach's decisions are justified by a tactical consideration. We're all working for a common goal and Jovetic is an asset for Inter.

"Gabriel Barbosa is getting better on a daily basis. Every day he gets to know Italian football a bit better and in January he could make inroads or we could find a solution that suits all parties.

"We've met with the coach to discuss what we could do in the January transfer window. We're looking at loans with the idea of establishing the team for next season. We have an excellent squad and Pioli knows that. He's chosen some players and he'll select some more going forward.

"Suning's name will be added to the training ground as a sponsor which will continue to be named after Angelo Moratti. Those who reported otherwise were clearly mistaken."
