APPIANO GENTILE - Cristian Ansaldi was the player chosen to join Stefano Pioli in his pre-match news conference ahead of tomorrow's Europa League group match at home to Sparta Prague.
The Argentine began by explaining how he views Thursday's encounter: "Tomorrow's match is a chance for us to return to winning ways and regain confidence."
The full-back was then asked whether Inter could feasibly play with three at the back: "We're ready to play however the coach wants us to and we'll always try to give 100%. This is Inter and we know how important it is to win every game. That's what we work towards on a daily basis."
While a knee injury disrupted the early part of his season, Ansaldi revealed that he was under no illusions as to the task that faced him when he signed for the Nerazzurri: "When you join a big club, you know that expectation is high and there's a certain type of mentality there. You must win every game here and the club's aims are different to those at other teams. But that's only natural."
