Candreva gets his half-century of Serie A goals; Icardi has scored six in his last three home games. Read on for more match stats

APPIANO GENTILE: Stefano Pioli's Inter defeated Fiorentina 4-2 in Monday evening's late kick-off in Serie A.

Marcelo Brozovic, Antonio Candreva and Mauro Icardi (twice) got the goals as the Nerazzurri returned to winning ways.

In collaboration with Opta, here are some statistics from the Week 14 contest.

- Inter scored two goals in the first nine minutes of a Serie A match for the first time since September 2009 (Samuel Eto'o and Diego Milito against Napoli).

- Inter scored three goals in the first 19 minutes of a Serie A game for the first time since January 1990 (Lothar Matthaus and Jurgen Klinsmann versus Bologna).

- Finally, Inter scored three in the first half of a Serie A contest for the first time since September 2014 (when we struck four against Sassuolo).

- Yesterday, Candreva passed the landmark of 50 goals in Serie A: the midfielder has two in his last two league outings, compared to zero in his first 12 appearances for the Nerazzurri in Serie A.

- Nikola Kalinic has got 13 of his 18 Serie A goals away from home: the Croatian striker has hit four in the two occasions he's faced Inter at San Siro.

- Two of Gonzalo Rodriguez's three red cards in the Italian top flight have come away at Inter.

- Icardi has scored six goals in his last three league games at home.

- Inter have conceded at least once in eight of their last nine Serie A home games.

- Yesterday evening, Fiorentina were on the receiving end of the most shots (21) and the most shots on target (nine) in the league this season.
