SUNING SPORTS FLAGSHIP STORE TO OPEN ON SUNDAY

Official inauguration of a new shop in Nanjing, spread over 700 square metres on two floors - part of which dedicated to Nerazzurri fans

NANJING - Suning Sports is ready to launch its flagship store in Nanjing’s Olympic Sports Centre, owned by Jiangsu Suning. The grand opening is set for 15:00 local time on Sunday 27 November.

To mark the occasion, an Inter delegation flew to China on Friday. Vice president Javier Zanetti, corporate director Michael Williamson, chief communications officer Robert Faulkner and chief revenue officer Michael Gandler were welcomed by Jindong Zhang, Steven Zhang, Jun Ren, Yang Yang and interim Inter CEO Jun Liu.

Part of the Suning Sports Olympic Sports Centre Flagship Store, encompassing 700 square metres over two floors, will be aimed at Nerazzurri fans. The ground floor will be dedicated to match kits and merchandise for both Jiangsu Suning and Inter, while the first floor will feature a café and various recreational areas where fans can watch matches on television.

Javier Zanetti and Francesco Toldo will take part in the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the store and meet local fans in the afternoon.

In the evening the Inter Forever legends and president Erick Thohir will attend an event organised to coincide with the second leg of the Chinese FA Cup final between Jiangsu Suning and Guangzhou.
