PIOLI: "INTER WILL PULL OUT ALL THE STOPS"

The coach's thoughts ahead of Be'er Sheva encounter: "It won't be easy but we've got a close-knit group and they're going about things with the right attitude"

BE'ER SHEVA – Inter know they face a tall order to qualify from their Europa League group but Stefano Pioli insists his Nerazzurri side will give it everything they've got in their bid to pull it off.

Inter take on Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Thursday knowing that nothing but a win will do if they are to keep their qualification hopes alive and the boss believes Sunday's derby has instilled further self-awareness in his men.

"We came away from Sunday's game having showed great character and determination," the coach began at the pre-match press conference at Turner Stadium.

"We know it's going to be hard but we're going to pull out all the stops and try to win.

“I've had a good look at our opponents. Hapoel Be'er Sheva are doing well in the league and they've done well in Europe too. They're good technically and they're a physical side too but we've got what it takes to do well.

“I think Inter need these do-or-die games. I'm not thinking about the other match in our group because we're focused only on what we can control ourselves.

"We're working hard both on and off the pitch to improve quickly. At the moment all our thoughts are on doing our best tomorrow. The players have got down to work and shown a very positive attitude. They're a close-knit group.”

Pioli was also asked about the possibility off Diego Simeone joining Inter.

“I have this fantastic professional opportunity and the only thing that concerns me is doing my very best for Inter because the club deserves to be successful again. I don't feel under pressure because I see it as part of this job which I love.”

The boss was also quizzed about Ever Banega.

"I must say that he's an excellent player. There's no question of me writing anyone off. In each game I try to pick the players I feel can do best for us. He's a very good player. I can't tell you whether or not he'll play tomorrow but I can say that I like dynamic midfielders and he moves very well between the lines.”
