Get all the key stats on the Nerazzurri’s vital 2-1 win over the Granata at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Wednesday night

MILAN – Inter got back to winning ways on Wednesday night as they defeated Torino 2-1 at San Siro courtesy of a brace from captain Mauro Icardi.

In collaboration with Opta, we’ve compiled all the key stats on a vital win for Frank de Boer’s men:

The victory over Torino was Inter’s first Serie A win in four games (one draw, three defeats).

Mauro Icardi’s goal against the Granata brought a six-game scoring drought in all competitions to an end.

It was Icardi’s first Serie A brace at San Siro since May 2015.

Icardi has now scored eight times this season – he was stuck on three goals after ten games last year.

Both of Andrea Belotti’s two away goals this season have come at San Siro (one against AC Milan, the other against Inter on Wednesday).

Inter have scored in each of their last nine league games, but have failed to keep a clean sheet in five.

Inter had 22 shots against Torino, their joint-highest tally in a Serie A game this season.

Torino had just seven shots (two in the first half, five in the second). It was their lowest tally in the league this season.
