DE BOER DEMANDS INTER CUT OUT MISTAKES

The Nerazzurri coach in the pre-match news conference: "I feel support from the club. We believe in this project and we have to win against Torino"

APPIANO GENTILEFrank de Boer wants his players to produce a faultless performance tomorrow evening against Torino to get the club back on track.

"I think it's important to work hard to get out of this situation." the Nerazzurri coach said in today's conference. "I want to understand how we can change things because it has been tough for everyone. We have to stay united to get out of this rut. I think it's only a question of time.

"It won't be easy but the club and Suning understand the situation we're in," the Dutchman added. "I'm confident things will change."

De Boer was then asked about what went wrong in the first half against Atalanta and Inter's form in general: "I think the first half against Atalanta was the worst since I've been here. I was very angry with the players because they didn't perform as I know they can do. We changed attitude after half-time and had a lot more courage. I believe the changing room is still on my side and I have a lot of faith in the team.

"The club are behind me every day. We speak all the time and there's a positive atmosphere. I feel everyone is behind me, including Suning. This is very important both for myself and the team. I don't want to talk about losing my job; I just want to focus on preparing for tomorrow evening's match.

"My philosophy will never change," De Boer continued. "We have performed as we're capable of doing in many games. It's true, we have made some mistakes and right now we cannot make any more.

"Even if I had arrived earlier, I would have built Inter in the same way, understanding what our strengths and weaknesses are. Step by step we're constructing the team. We're faced with obstacles but we want to improve. The club was aware of these difficulties and I think changing the coach won't solve any of them."

The Inter head coach then turned his gaze to tomorrow's contest: "Torino press high up the pitch and are in good form right now. Their three forwards are strong and full of confidence but we want to win. It will be an interesting encounter – their playing style is similar to ours.

"As for my line-up, I want to see the whole team buying into the way we play. It's not important who starts the game.

"Erick Thohir is Inter," Frank said of the Nerazzurri president, "If I speak about the club, I speak about him as well. Suning are the company that supports the project but they're all part of Inter, just like Piero Ausilio or Javier Zanetti."

De Boer wrapped things up with some comments on a couple of players and Gary Medel's suspension: "I'm happy with Ever Banega. We have a lot of players and recently I've chosen to go with Marcelo Brozovic. Gabigol needs to understand that things are different here compared to Brazil. He is working hard and his moment will come soon.

"We will miss Medel. I'll speak with the club and we'll find out more about the appeal process."
