APPIANO GENTILE – Frank de Boer’s Nerazzurri squad were at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti on Friday morning to begin preparations for Sunday’s trip south to Roma’s Stadio Olimpico.
The squad was split up into two groups, with those involved for all or most of the match against Sparta Prague on Thursday night having a recovery session in the gym.
The rest of the players trained as normal out on the pitches, warming up before working through a series of possession drills. The session was rounded off with a practice game.
Vice president Javier Zanetti and sporting director Piero Ausilio were there to watch training.
